 About the Speaker: Glenn Miller is a Senior Project Manager for Compliance Technologies, Inc., a professional environmental, health, and safety services Company serving the Midwest. He received his tri-major B.S. degrees in Chemistry, Biology and Music Education from Case Western Reserve University, M.S. in Clinical Chemistry from Cleveland State University and MBA from Baldwin Wallace College.
Mr. Miller provides a broad range of consulting services with over 35 years of experience in the chemical industry. He specializes in training, HazCom programs, dangerous goods handling and labeling (GHS, HMIS and NFPA), transportation compliance (DOT/IATA and IMDG), site audits, global regulatory compliance (REACH, TSCA), and Process Safety Management.
Prior to joining CTI in 2013, Mr. Miller was the Materials/ EHS Director and then the Logistics/ EHS Director for 14 years for Research Organics dba SAFC Cleveland.  During his tenure, he established their air permits, water discharge compliance, hazardous and universal waste management programs, RCRA and Emergency Response Team training, chemical site security plan, Safety Committee/OSHA training and global transportation compliance programs.
Mr. Miller currently holds certifications in OSHA 40-hour Hazardous Waste Health and Safety Operations, Dangerous Goods Transportation, RCRA, DOT, IATA, IMDG, GHS and CVI (Department of Homeland Security).  He also maintains his EHS knowledge by attendance at relevant courses in REACH, Process Safety Management, auditing procedures, risk assessment, and on changes in EPA, OSHA and transportation compliance regulations.

Western Reserve Safety Council presents topics that help our members provide a safer environment for their employees while mitigating risk and reducing costs.

In collaboration with the State of Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation, WRSC is a collaborative effort of the Solon, Twinsburg, Hudson, Aurora, Beachwood and Chagrin Valley Chambers of Commerce.  Established in 2014, The WRSC, is open to all area businesses, not-for-profits and government entities. The mission of the safety council is to provide a forum for the presentation of health and safety issues and exchange ideas and concepts for best practices in the workplace with an emphasis on regulatory compliance (e.g. OSHA, EPA rules and regulations, among others). WRSC serves Solon and surrounding communities.
